LIAM HEMSWORTH WORKOUT ROUTINE
◾FOR LIAM, ENJOYING IS THE BEST CARDIO EXERCISE

Liam finds it utterly boring to workout on a treadmill or even a cycle, even though, sometimes he has to pay a visit to a gym just to save time for
his busy schedule. For him, the best part of a cardio exercise is not to just sweat but also enjoy it and have a blast. Some of the activities or
sports that Liam indulges in are boxing, surfing and running. Punching for about 20 minutes is exhilarating, insists Liam.
◾LIAM- THE NAVY SEAL TRAINEE

Yes, you read it right…!!!!!! Liam was required to go through a training program under a former Navy SEAL and it was not at all a piece of cake
for him. The Hunger Games actor was required to lose about 15 pounds for the action movie and hence had to run the extra mile and lift those
extra pounds till he was flat on his stomach, literally. Also throwing tires around and climbing ropes gave him the ripped muscles.

rice. Spices are also his favorite as it helps to increase the rate of metabolism and he loves to binge on pepper fries, red chilies and whole
other spicy food items that most of us would not even be able to bring near our tongue.
◾SIMPLICITY IS HIS VIRTUE

Liam believes that a simple diet is all this required to be fit or lose weight or even become muscular. He avoids oily food and drinks lots of
water to keep him hydrated. Orange juice is his favorite drink of all times and he has never had a single health supplement in his 23 years of
existence. Of course, he resorted to one-meal-a-day diet to lose weight for The Hunger Games but that was it.

Not many knows that Liam has worked so hard on his body in the early part of his life that he now needs to just maintain it with a proper diet

General Diet Guidelines

The U.S. Navy, in conjunction with the Athlete's Performance Institute, developed the "Navy Operational Fitness & Fueling Series," or NOFFS, to
improve servicemen's performance through proper nutrition and training. NOFFS promotes limiting processed foods and increasing the
consumption of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. In addition, the 2007 publication of "The U.S. Navy SEAL Guide to Fitness and Nutrition,"
edited by Patricia A. Deuster, et al., recommends that the Navy SEAL eat a diet composed of 60 to 65 percent carbohydrates, with fat
accounting for less than 30 percent of the total calories and protein contributing the remaining nourishment. The high carbohydrate and protein
content of the diet is necessary to fuel the Navy SEAL's intense activities and to maintain and rebuild his muscle tissue. Alterations to these
general guidelines can be made to meet the Navy SEAL's specific training and combat needs.
Diving and Underwater Diet Guidelines

Nutritional concerns for maritime military activities include replenishing energy and fluid losses, which are exacerbated under these
conditions, particularly when conducted in cold water. The SEAL fitness guide recommends consuming high carbohydrate foods, such as
pasta, rice and fruit, between missions and carbohydrate loading prior to a scheduled dive. Carbohydrate loading entails eating 1,500 extra
calories from carbohydrates per day while decreasing fat and protein intake and reducing training for three days prior to the prolonged dive.
The SEAL should consume fluids containing 5 to 8 percent carbohydrates periodically throughout training and missions to maintain blood sugar
levels and hydration. Another goal is to replace calcium, magnesium, chromium and zinc, which are excreted in the urine at an accelerated
rate during cold water immersion. These nutrients can be found in cheese and whole grains.

Temperature Extremes Diet Guidelines

The Navy SEAL trains and fights in a variety of environments that alter nutritional needs. In hot conditions, the Navy SEAL avoids fatty foods and
excessive protein, which decrease heat tolerance. He also drinks beverages that contain sodium and potassium, which can be lost in sweat
and result in muscle cramps. The Navy SEAL should limit the amount of fat and protein sources in a cold environment as well, because these
can lead to stomach distress and water loss. Requirements for vitamins used for energy metabolism, such as thiamine, are increased in cold
environments. Whole grains and nuts can provide this micronutrient.


High Altitude Diet Guidelines

Ascent to high altitude can result in significant weight loss; as a result, the Navy SEAL needs to consume 3,500 to 6,000 calories per day in
such conditions. He eats small, frequent high carbohydrate meals, such as a turkey sandwich with orange juice or chocolate milk to maintain
body weight. The Navy SEAL avoids protein intake greater than 10 percent of total daily calories at high altitude,
because it increases fluid loss and risk for dehydration.

When you look at it, the training program that Navy SEALs go through during their BUD/S and even before they qualify is actually very simple.
This training program involves the following elements: • Running three times a week • Swimming three times a week • Push-ups, sit-ups and
pull-ups four times a week • Strength training for both the upper body and the lower body twice a week each • Core strength training for the
spine and abdominal muscles four times a week • Stretching exercises daily The necessary training to qualify for entry to the Navy SEALs can
be done within 13 weeks if you are already accustomed to doing fitness workouts on a regular basis. However, if you have not done any regular
fitness training before, it is always recommended for you to start slow and to stretch the program to 26 weeks, increasing it slightly in intensity
every week. In this way, you get to have your body get used to the idea of training for fitness, as well as prevent any injuries or getting burned
out along the way. The Four Keys to a Successful Navy SEAL Fitness Training The Navy SEAL training is not really any different from any other
program. There are keys that you need to unlock in order for you to become more successful in attaining the kind of physical health and fitness
that you want. In case of the Navy SEAL program, these are the four keys that you need to have in order for you to attain your fitness goals. 1.
Systematic. You need to be systematic when it comes to training. You need to plan your training so that you would know exactly what to do on
any given training time. This will also help you keep better track of your results. 2. Progressive. Inasmuch as you need to take things slowly
with your training, you need to add steadily to the intensity of your training so that you can get better results. 3. Consistency. It is very important
for you to keep a regular training schedule and to stick to it. Otherwise, you will not get the results that you want. 4. Specific. You need to know
your weak areas so you would be able to focus your efforts on them. Do not be tempted to concentrate your efforts on your stronger points
